I lived on a lagoon where an abundance of waterfowl came visiting daily. When a bird caught my attention, I would run for my camera.

Blue Heron & Waterlilies

There are times when I want to create a very special canvas with no time limitations. I sort through my file boxes of photographs and am transposed back to the time I captured that particular scene on film. A limited edition canvas is hand-painted only six times and retired. Most of these canvases involve an enormous allotment of time with careful attention to detail.

I reserve the subject matter in my limited editions to the material that stirs my emotions and enables a deep response in my heart.

Most designs are painted on #18 mesh petit point canvas in order to get detail. If the art work is a large scale piece and I can still get the detail I want, you may order it on #13 mesh canvas so the project takes you less time to stitch.

As with all canvases found in my online catalog, eventually all limited editions will be shown on my web site until I fill the numbered editions. You are invited to visit often to see these exquisite designs.

What's next? It doesn't take much prodding for me to open my magic box of photographs. Within minutes I find at least a dozen or more new ideas begging to be used in my next limited edition selections.
